We’re a small, family-run riding company, offering year-round experiences for nature and animal lovers. Living on Hydra all year with our horses and donkeys—and our ever-growing cat family—we know every corner of this magical island. When we’re not guiding rides or traveling, you’ll find us hiking or riding through Hydra’s stunning mountains.
At Argyris’ Horses, we specialize in private, boutique horse riding experiences and nature experiences. Explore Hydra at your own pace: ride through charming villages, visit serene monasteries, discover remote beaches, or venture up into the mountains. We also offer family-friendly horse rides, donkey adventures, and immersive nature experiences.
We don’t do “mass tourism.” Every ride is intentionally small, intimate, and slow-paced—designed for travelers seeking an authentic connection with Hydra’s nature, trails, coastline, and heritage.
Here, quality always comes first. You’ll feel the island’s silence, meet the animals, absorb the landscape, and uncover its history and magic—all while getting to know us, the locals.
